International Women’s Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women since 1911. This year, I’ve teamed up with these amazing women bloggers from different backgrounds and roles to talk about what defines us as women.
What Woman’s Role are you taking charge now?
Me? I am a mother of 2 – a girl in Primary 4 and a boy in Primary 2. Currently a full time mummy and a freelance talent. I also run an online costume rental business. Left my full time job in 2016 to spend more time with my kids. After all, our kids are only young once. As the saying goes…when you have kids, the days seem long but the years are short! I didn’t regret my choice and am happy with my life now. Flexible just the way I like it. Social Media has played a big part in making me sane despite mummy duties :) I also recharge by going to massages and facials.
Find out what these ladies think about what makes us women. :
So Shub, what’s your story? – Shub, Social Media Mom SG
What should every woman try at least once in her life? – Irene, Goods Wanderers
Name a woman who influenced you the most. – CK, Puzzle of Life
What do you like and dislike about being a woman? – Renuka, The Fun Stuff
